Luddite Wines is situated in the Western Cape of South Africa and falls within the Walker Bay Wine Ward.

Our vineyards lie on the eastern slopes of the Houw Hoek Mountains, 1½ km from the Village of Bot River, 30km from the Atlantic Ocean. 

These cool south eastern slopes catch the morning sun and are ideal for long ripening. This gives our well-balanced Shiraz good spicy characteristics.

The property is 17ha in size. At present 5.5ha are under vine. We have planted 200 Frantioa and Mission Olive Trees.
