We have just heard that we were awarded 4.5 stars in the Platter 4yrs in a row! The CWG wines came out tops might have had something to do with the name: 2 for Listening thought it was time to name a wine after one of the children and that suits Kim perfectly, as his teacher said: he is a wonderful child just never listens. The wines got great reviews, achieving over 90 points in both the Wine Spectator and Decanter. This was reflected at the Auction with the wines selling at record prices. ![]() Niels and his coach in the thick of things. One of the major highlights was finally getting the Bot River Barrel Race up and running, literally. The Bot River Primary school decorated the barrels and will be getting them back in the New Year with trees planted in them to brighten up the school. 10 teams took part and a great day was had by all. The money raised will be donated to the Bot River Education Trust. If anyone is interested in coming to harvest next year 2008, please let us know soonest as this has become and bit of party and we need to restrict it to 60 people. We are only going to let you pick 2 rows each and the beer truck will be around on a regular basis to keep you going. ![]()
